Medereizigers
Onderweg ontmoeten we regelmatig andere reizigers en veruit de meeste van deze toevallige ontmoeting eindigen in een avondje kletsen op de camping, in een gezellige gezamelijke maaltijd of soms zelfs als het echt klik besluiten we om samen een stukje te reizen. Hieronder een overzicht van de reizigers die we ontmoet hebben.

Juliana en Dieter uit Duitsland zijn wereldreizigers van het eerste uur. Ze hebben de wereld bereisd met allerlei soorten vervoer. Dieter heeft er vele boeken geschreven.
Juliana and Dieter are from Germany and long time travellers. They used all types of transport and travelled all across the world. Dieter wrote many books about their adventures.

Wendy en Ray komen uit Nederland en hebben met hun Landrover 27 maanden door Afrika en Zuid-Amerika gereisd.
Wendy and Ray are from the Netherlands and with their Landrover they travelled for 27 months through Africa and South America.

Ralf en Kersten komen uit Duitsland en reizen met Berta, hun in zuid-Afrika gekochte Landrover, door zuidelijk Afrika.
Ralf and Kersten are from Germany and are travelling with Berta, the Landrover they bought in South Africa, through Southern Africa.

Robi and Heidi are from Switzerland and are already driving through the world for a couple of years with their Toyota camper. They are one of the four other couples with whom we will travel through China.

Thomas uit Zwitserland begon de reis met een andere reisgenoot en Benedikt uit Duitsland is op de fiets begonnen. Inmiddels reizen ze samen richting Afrika.
Thomas from Zwitserland started his journey with another travel partner and Benedikt from Germany started on his bike. Somehow the met and are now travelling together with Africa as their destination.

Jan en Rita komen uit Nederland en wonen zelfs vlakbij in Assen. Hun doel was om met een normale 2-wiel aangedreven camper via de oostkust naar Zuid-Afrka te rijden en dat is gelukt. Ze hebben er drie maanden over gedaan.
Jan and Rita are from the Netherlands and life not far from us in Assen. Their goal was to drive from Holland along the east to South Africa with a normal two wheel drive camper and they succeeded. It took them three months.

Kelly en Maór, komen uit Zuid-Afrika en zijn op vakantie in Namibie. We treffen ze verdwaald en zonder remmen in Kaokoland. De daaropvolgende drie dagen rijden we samen verder.
Kelly and Maór, are from South Africa and on holiday in Namibia. We met them lost and without breaks somewhere in Kaokoland. The next three days we travelled together.

Elisabeth and Francois drove from Holland via Morocco to Ghana. Then they shipped the car to South Africa and are now driving back through East Africa.

Roel and Lizzy are travelling with their Landrover from London, through the Middle East and Asia to Australia and after that through Eastern Africa back to London. In total they will travel for about two years.

Laura en Vegter rijden via Tunesie, Libie en Oost-Afrika naar Zuid-Afrika. Het eerste contact was al gelegd in Nederland en in Luxor zijn we elkaar eindelijk tegengekomen. Vanaf Soedan zullen we een aantal trajecten samen reizen.
Laura and Vegter drive down the east route to South Africa. We first met eachother in Holland but in Luxor we finally caught up. From Sudan we will drive together on some routes.

Na een aantal jaren wonen en werken in Londen rijden Rob en Inga nu terug naar huis. Ze rijden van London naar Kaapstad, met als einddoel het opbouwen van een nieuw bestaan ergens in zuidelijk Afrika, daar waar ze beiden vandaan komen.
After some year of working and living in London, Rob and Inga are now driving home. They will drive from London to Cape Town in order to start a new life somewhere in Southern Africa.
